    Oct. 5: Rocks and Glacial Deposits of the Champlain Valley

    Explore the fascinating geological and glacial history of the Middlebury, VT area during a leisurely hike with Ray Coish, Geologist at Middlebury College.  The hike will go along the Trail Around Middlebury (TAM), over the (Chipman) Hill and through the (Means) Woods.  Meet at 9am at the TAM trail head, next to the large parking lot of the Co-op Insurance on Washington Street Extension in Middlebury.  This hike is organized by the Middlebury Area Land Trust.
