    Diving In: Raising Salmon in the Classroom

    Students from Westport and WIllsboro, NY learned about the salmon life cycle and habitat as part of the Salmon in the Classroom program. With support from New York State DEC and Trout Unlimited, they raised salmon from eggs and released them into local streams. They learned about stream ecology and the connections of these tributaries to Lake Champlain.
