    Culture & Recreation

    Connecting
    People & Place

Lake Champlain is an iconic natural resource that is deeply embedded in the cultural heritage of the region’s residents. The Basin’s historical attractions, vibrant working landscapes, and vast recreational opportunities draw millions of visitors each year. Stewardship of Lake Champlain relies, in large part, on an appreciation of the Lake itself and the associated resources of the Basin. Since its inception, the LCBP has fostered stronger personal connections between people and resources of the Lake Champlain Basin while supporting the local economy by supporting recreation initiatives.
