More than 40 regional and local watershed associations and environmental groups are active in the Lake Champlain Basin. Because these groups are often the most familiar with conditions on the ground, they are a great way to get up to speed on issues specific to your corner of the watershed. These organizations rely on volunteers for everything from tree plantings to filing to public outreach. Find a group near you using the interactive map of watershed, lake, and river groups working in the Basin or an alphabetical listing.
