Getting Your Feet Wet with Social Marketing in Watershed Outreach Campaigns

Go beyond awareness in your watershed educational campaigns to changing attitudes and polluting behaviors! Join the LCBP for a hands-on workshop with national expert, Jack Wilbur of the Utah Department of Agriculture and Food. The workshop will cover defining problems and behavioral change solutions, identifying your key audiences, developing messages, evaluating success, and more.

About Jack Wilbur: For the past eight years Jack has been the co-chair of the States-EPA Nonpoint Source Information Transfer and Outreach workgroup, working to bring his social marketing message to watershed committees throughout the country. Jack conducts outreach and social marketing workshops throughout Utah, nationally and in Canada. Jack worked with EPA to produce the Getting in Step video in 2003, and the 2nd edition of the Getting in Step guidebook in 2004. In 2007 he wrote a social marketing guidebook: Getting Your Feet Wet with Social Marketing: A Social Marketing Guidebook for Watershed Programs.
