Philip C. Walker (1911-1991) was a botanist and field biologist who spent his life inspiring generations of students with his boundless enthusiasm for the natural world. Point Au Roche State Park, near Plattsburgh, NY, was a special place in his repertoire of wild stomping grounds. This one-mile memorial trail connects 13 exhibits that interpret a rich diversity of botanical species and the natural communities of Point Au Roche State Park.
