The Vermont Phosphorus Innovation Challenge

The Vermont Phosphorus Innovation Challenge (VPIC) is a call for proposals of creative, viable approaches to effectively remove phosphorus from manure or other organic waste streams in such a way that phosphorous can be used as a commodity to create economic development opportunities. The Agency of Agriculture, Food and Markets is looking to broadly distribute the call for proposals through a reverse pitch process. Please see the link to the Brief for information below regarding the VPIC, including timeline and further details. The Agency feels it is very important to access the most innovative, creative thinkers that may have ideas for addressing the phosphorus imbalance that exists within Vermont.
