LCBP Seeks Environmental Analyst

The New England Interstate Water Pollution Control Commission (NEIWPCC) and the Lake Champlain Basin Program (LCBP) are seeking candidates for an Environmental Analyst to work closely with the Program Director, Education and Outreach Team, Technical Team, and the Cultural Heritage Coordinator to assist with mission-driven projects to improve water quality, habitat, environmental engagement, and cultural interpretation of the Lake Champlain Basin. This entry level position will represent LCBP at outreach events, including some weekend and night events. Assist staff on grant management, website and social media account updates, and boat launch steward program. Deliver, install, and maintain the Champlain Valley National Heritage Partnership (CVNHP) Wayside Exhibit Inventory. Assist with implementing the Healthy Soils campaign.

The successful candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in environmental sciences or related field, with coursework or passionate interest in Lake Champlain or watershed issues relevant to the LCBP mission. Strong computer skills, writing and editing skills required. Ability to work with the public. Demonstrated photography skills preferred.
