Lake Champlain Basin Program Seeks Diversity Consultant Proposals

The Lake Champlain Basin Program (LCBP) seeks proposals from qualified consultants to advance our planning and programming in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). Key objectives envisioned for this work include conducting an organizational assessment, supporting the creation of a DEI strategic plan, and assisting LCBP with integrating DEI principles into our existing programming.  LCBP has up to $15,000 available to initiate this work in the coming year.

“I am excited for this opportunity to work with a consultant to critically examine how LCBP can build and strengthen our connections with indigenous, new American, BIPOC, and traditionally underserved communities around the Basin, and ensure LCBP’s work serves members of these communities”, said Dr. Eric Howe, Director of the LCBP.

LCBP staff and members of the LCBP Executive Committee will evaluate the proposals and develop the award recommendation for the Lake Champlain Steering Committee to consider. Word-compatible electronic submissions ONLY will be accepted and must be received via email no later than October 8th, 2021 to mkcampbell@lcbp.org.Questions regarding this RFP will be accepted until October 1, 2021 and the questions and LCBP responses will be posted on the RFP webpage. Applicants will be notified in November 2021 for work to begin in January 2022. Late or incomplete proposals will not be considered.

The LCBP anticipates that this work will be supported with funds awarded to NEIWPCC by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency on behalf of the Lake Champlain Basin Program. This Request for Proposals is available at the LCBP website.
