The rain barrels from the Connecting the Drops exhibit are being auctioned off during Art Hop, a 3-day celebration of art in Burlington’s South End (http://seaba.com/art-hop/). Connecting the Drops is an exhibit of rain barrels that have been decorated by local artists and placed along Church and College Streets to tell the story of stormwater runoff. The proceeds from the auction support the ‘Let It Rain’ program with their goal of improving water quality in VT’s LC Basin by reducing the volume and pollutant load of stormwater entering rivers, lakes and stream.
