MollyMaps cARTography
The LCBP hosted two workshops with Maine-based artist and cartographer Molly Holmberg Brown. Participants at the Strand Center for the Arts in Plattsburgh, NY and at the Community Sailing Center in Burlington, VT celebrated places that are personally meaningful to them in the Lake Champlain Basin and beyond.
Artists of all abilities worked in watercolor and pen. Burlington participants also went on a pre-workshop kayak tour to Rock Point and the Champlain Thrust Fault with Mike Winslow, then-member of LCBP’s Technical Advisory Committee and author of Lake Champlain: A Natural History.
