The LCBP seeks volunteers at the Resource Room at ECHO Leahy Center for Lake Champlain.
The LCBP staffs and operates a Resource Room at ECHO, Leahy Center for Lake Champlain on the Burlington, Vermont waterfront.
The Resource Room cultivates Lake and watershed stewardship with place-based educational resources, activities, and exhibits. The Resource Room features a Lake Explorer Kit filled with hands-on science tools. Visitors also can try a world lakes comparison game, learn about lake monitoring, and discover amazing Lake and Basin facts.
Other exhibits, hands-on activities, computer stations, a library of Lake and Basin information, educator resources, and technical documents are available for students, citizen scientists, and all curious children and adults. We are happy to assist anyone with a question about or interest in Lake Champlain and its watershed.
Resource Room staff are available to answer questions about Lake Champlain by email resourceroom@lcbp.org, by phone (802) 864-1848 ext. 109, and in person at ECHO, Leahy Center for Lake Champlain.
The LCBP Resource Room is open the same hours as ECHO. Free Resource Room passes (does not include admission to ECHO) are available to visit the room for research. To obtain one, call the Resource Room in advance to schedule an appointment at (802) 864-1848 ext. 109.
