The LCBP operates the Collen Hickey Resource Room at ECHO, Leahy Center for Lake Champlain on the Burlington, Vermont waterfront.
The Resource Room is a learning space that is open to all ages. The room features hands-on activities including puzzles, games, and microscopes with natural specimens. It also serves as a hub of information about Lake Champlain watershed. Talk with our knowledgeable staff or peruse the bookshelves to learn about the ecology and history of Lake Champlain and how you can get involved.
Getting Here: The Resource Room is located in the ECHO Leahy Center for Lake Champlain on the Burlington Waterfront at 1 College St. Burlington, VT 05401. It is situated along the Burlington Bike Path, and is a short walk from many GMT bus route stops. If you drive, paid parking is available in the ECHO lot behind the facility.
Hours: The Resource Room is open the same hours as ECHO, typically 10am-5pm, 7 days a week. Please check the ECHO website before your visit to be notified of occasional closures.
Admission: Visiting the Resource Room is free; visiting the rest of the ECHO Center requires paid admission. Visitors can request a free pass to visit only the Resource Room for research.
