Environmentalists Wanted

The Vermont Department of Environmental Conservation is now enrolling ECO AmeriCorps fulltime members, with service to begin this September. We are seeking highly motivated individuals with a science or communications background and a college degree. ECO AmeriCorps members will be placed at partner organizations as program hosts and work on clean water projects throughout Vermont. Work may include outreach and education, technical assistance, and project selection, design and implementation. Stipend: $14,841 per year, health insurance, professional training and networking, and an AmeriCorps Segal Education Award.

We are also looking for host sites! Calling all Regional Planning Commissions, Natural Resources Conservation Districts, Municipalities, Watershed and Lake Associations and other civic groups! Consider becoming a host for a ECO AmeriCorps member!
