    Diving In: Learning on the LaPlatte

    Students from the Shelburne Community School learned about stream health and lake ecology on the LaPlatte River with the Lake Champlain Sea Grant-University of Vermont Extension Watershed Alliance last fall. It’s just one of the ways that organizations in the Lake Champlain Basin are working to engage citizens in classrooms and in the community to protect the watershed.
