4/8/13: Upstream Downtown Symposium

How can Vermont’s historic downtowns and villages thrive in a changing climate? By making room for rivers and retooling our towns with greener infrastructure. An upcoming symposium will illustrate planning and design practices that have built flood resiliency into communities across the globe and examine their relevancy for Vermont towns. The symposium is co-sponsored by Harvard University Loeb Fellowship, VNRC, the Vermont Agency of Natural Resources, the Vermont Planners Association, the Vermont Department of Housing and Community Development, and the Vermont Chapter, American Society of Landscape Architects.
