The Pine Island Community Farm is a unique “Thriving Communities” story. This partnership supports the traditions of a growing and vibrant population while protecting habitat and maintaining working lands in the heart of highly developed Chittenden County, Vermont. The effort is a collaboration among the Vermont Goat Collaborative, the Association of Africans Living in Vermont, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and the Vermont Land Trust.
