Each year on World Water Day, the Champlain Basin Education Initiative hosts a celebration of water resources. This public event showcases photography, videography, writing, and art created by students from around the Lake Champlain watershed.
The art often builds on classroom lessons. A team of teachers at J.J. Flynn Elementary School in Burlington, Vermont integrated their student’s lessons and their own learning as part of the Watershed for Every Classroom program into a unique World Water Day project.
