LCBP Hosts Citizen Cider for Love the Lake Series

The Lake Champlain Basin Program will host Citizen Cider on Thursday, February 28th for the Love the Lake speaker series. Cheray MacFarland, Director of Marketing and Sales for Citizen Cider, will present: Lake Champlain and the Good Citizen. Join LCBP staff to learn how Citizen Cider works with agricultural producers from the Vermont and New York portions of the Lake Champlain watershed to create ciders which are distributed in the six New England states, New York and beyond. Ms. MacFarland will focus on The Lake Hopper and For Shore ciders, both of which have direct ties to Lake Champlain. Allenholm Farm, Chazy Orchards, and Forrence Orchard and Northern Orchard from Peru, NY are just a few of the local growers providing produce for the Citizen Cider brand. Lake Champlain unites us once again!

This FREE public program begins at 6:30 p.m. in the Lake Champlain Basin Program Office and Vermont Fish and Wildlife Training Facility, 54 West Shore Road, Grand Isle, Vermont, located just north of the Grand Isle ferry entrance. Homemade desserts will be served. For further information, contact the Lake Champlain Basin Program at the LCBP at (802) 372-3213.
