The LCBP has released the latest in its technical report series. Technical Report No. 98: Hydrodynamic Modeling in Lake Champlain: Current Resources, Major Gaps provides an overview of computer modeling that simulates processes and movements in the lake. The report notes that hydrodynamic models have improved the understanding of lake dynamics, but further efforts are needed to increase the accuracy of the models and to serve natural resource mangers’ and policy-makers’ science-based information needs.
