Call for Abstracts Reopened for the 2022 Lake Champlain Research Conference

Grand Isle, VT – The Lake Champlain Basin Program (LCBP), Lake Champlain Sea Grant, and the Lake Champlain Research Consortium are pleased to announce that the next Lake Champlain Research Conference will be held May 23rd-24th, 2022 at the Hilton Burlington Lake Champlain in downtown Burlington, VT. The conference was originally scheduled for January 2022 and was postponed due to the ongoing COVID pandemic.

The conference will bring together lake and watershed stakeholders, including researchers, management practitioners, and the public to learn about the state of research on Lake Champlain and to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Clean Water Act. The conference will feature participation and research from New York, Vermont, Québec, and beyond, providing an opportunity for discussion, networking, and collaboration across Lake Champlain’s multi-jurisdictional watershed.

Abstracts for oral presentations and poster sessions will be accepted through February 15th.

Please visit lcbp.org/lcrc to submit your abstract via an online platform. Abstracts submitted in the first round of calls for abstracts (August -September 2021) will still be considered in this second call; abstract authors from the first round should expect an email from Mae Kate Campbell mkcampbell@lcbp.org or Lauren Jenness ljenness@lcbp.org with more information.
