Partners in Action
The challenges of protecting and restoring water quality, habitat and species in the Lake Champlain Basin habitat are dynamic and complex. U.S. federal agencies have taken a vital role in supporting the the goals of Opportunities for Action. Several federal agencies have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to facilitate their cooperation and coordination through the LCBP. In October 2001, the LCBP Federal Agencies Work Group was established to coordinate funding and implementation of projects in the Basin.
