| Abstract: | The West Branch of the Ausable attracts $3.8 million dollars in fishing tourism annually and supports four fly shops and numerous private guides. For this reason the Ausable River Association employed a “River Steward” to educate anglers in the Ausable and encircling watersheds and spread the “Check-Clean-Dry” message. |
